TIME FOR A CHANGE
IN GENERATIONS

Until 2015, the Allgäu-based traditional company OTT-JAKOB defined itself exclusively through its products and technologies. It did not have an absolutely identifiable brand image. The change in general management generations paved the way for the communicative realignment of the family operated company with a workforce of 220.

HOW DOES ONE COMMUNICATE TECHNOLOGY LEADERSHIP?

Initially, a brand positioning workshop was conducted to clearly define the company as an international technology leader – with the three pillars technology, quality and passion. The customer promise is “long term safety” and the brand claim “long-life clamping technology inside.”

The result was a new, sovereign presentation that communicates the high precision of OTT-JAKOB products as effectively as it does the employees’ passion for perfect technology.

CONCISE SYNCHRONIZATION OF MEASURES

The new presentation was ushered in in conjunction with the EMO 2015 in Milan. Besides going online with the new website, image and product ads and a new image brochure in seven languages, the company realized customer mailings and PR publications.

The website www.ott-jakob.de is compelling thanks to its generous, emotional image world – which is unusual in the world of tooling machines. The product pages provide a clear and informative overview of the comprehensive product spectrum of OTT-JAKOB. More detailed information can be found in the information counter.
