IMPRESSIVE DIGITAL AND HYDRAULIC INTERACTION

The seven meters tall digital exhibit was an absolute eyecatcher. The hydraulic powertrain configurator controlled via a 49” touchscreen made it possible for the engineers to precisely configure the powertrain they needed for their future customer demands.
During the configuration, matching actual powertrain components were hydraulically added and impressively presented via the light concept. Compatible video driving scenes, facts & benefits complemented the digital live experience on the gigantic LED wall. At the end, personally selected configurations were emailed to tradeshow guests.

FUN FACTOR AND SOCIAL MEDIA CONNECTION FOR EMPLOYER BRANDING

On the other hand, potential applicants were able to use the same configurator to determine their personal driver persona in just a few clicks. All of that was paired with an immense fun factor and was perfectly prepared for social media sharing using the Facebook filter. Numerous posts created a huge entertainment factor and amplified the popularity of Magna.

HOW DOES ONE PRESENT A COMPLEX POWERTRAIN CONFIGURATION LIVE?

With a tradeshow presentation that was rather unusual for an automotive supplier, Magna emphasized its technology leadership claim in alternative drive systems at the CES 2019 in Las Vegas. With the world’s first powertrain configurator, SPS MARKETING realized an intelligent exhibit for diverse uses – for both, the OEM engineers and potential applicants.

The powertrain configurator was not exclusively developed for the CES 2019 in Las Vegas. Thanks to its modular structure it can be used anywhere. The existing application is under constant further development, also with regard to new types of interaction.
