The next Level of Mechatronics

With its solution platform Smart MechatroniX, Bosch Rexroth is following the market trends in factory automation and is paving the way into the factory of the future for its customers.

Smart MechatroniX solutions perfectly meet all future market and customer demands. Thanks to the expansion of best-in-class linear technology components affiliated with sensors, electronics and software, completely new approaches to solutions emerge for the factory of the future. These exact solutions are slated to be bundled under a single roof and launched by SPS MARKETING in 2020. It was not an easy undertaking, especially since none of the key tradeshows took place due to COVID-19.

„Plug & Produce, Perform, Proceed“.

This was the credo SPS MARKETING developed in a positioning workshop for Smart MechatroniX. The resulting industry and application comprising benefits were also developed and are just as smart as the name: “Plug & Produce” summarizes all of the advantages of the smart, instantly usable solution packages. In terms of “Perform” Bosch Rexroth is a winner as a key provider and user. Given that the issue of sustainability plays an ever more significant role, the term “Proceed” refers to sustainable, future-oriented features.

MOVE FORWARD WITH THREE SMART MECHATRONIX SOLUTION PACKAGES

An impressive three solutions were launched in the fall of 2020: the Smart Function Kit for press and joining applications, the Smart Function Kit for handling tasks and the Smart Flex Effector as a balancing module that increases the precision of e.g. handling robots and paves the way for new applications for robots and Cartesian systems.


A key visual, a dedicated storyline, a sub-page on the website, a flyer and social media content were developed for each solution. Multi-product communication measures included an integral 3D implemented key visual for a variety of uses, the website integrated into the Bosch Rexroth system as well as a teaser video that communicates the innovative, smart spirit of the solution packages.


A flyer, content for the newsletter, social media and blogs also attracted attention in conjunction with the anniversary.

Campaigns such as this one for Bosch Rexroth demonstrate that SPS MARKETING dives deeply into the material if the aim is sophisticated B2B communication. We strategically question things and, together with the product developers and experts, we position technically highly complex products concisely in workshops. Based on these fundamentals we are able to implement creative campaigns with our 3D Motion Design Specialists.
