The development of a communication strategy, a creative concept, motion design, a 3D animation and content creation


THE TASK


Bosch Rexroth, a provider of best-in-class linear motion technology, wanted to promote its entire product range with a B2B product marketing campaign. From the precise and durable Bosch Rexroth linear motion technology components, to the smart mechatronic subsystems Smart MechatroniX, Bosch Rexroth is a reliable companion on the road to success providing top service throughout the entire lifecycle. Furthermore, Bosch Rexroth not only offers consultation using state-of-the-art eTools, but also reliable, durable products with a multi-year service included.

The goal was to effectively communicate this combination of technology and storytelling in one campaign. As a full-service B2B agency, SPS MARKETING was given the brief to work with Bosch Rexroth to develop and implement a modular, effective and sustainable campaign concept based on a workshop with the sales team.


THE SOLUTION


In the spirit of modern, uniquely B2B storytelling, the highlight linear technology products were dynamized and brought to life with the claim "Moving the future forward". The setting is a cityscape comprised of other linear technology components through which complex components and industrial systems fly breathtakingly quickly. The campaign concept is modular and utilizes an intelligent structure reflecting the three main benefits: Time-to-Market, Efficiency and Sustainability.

The three main streets in the cityscape are also named after these benefits: The FAST LANE, which offers a shortened time-to-market and thus increases competitiveness. The EFFICIENCY ROAD, in which performance and profitability are optimized to exploit the full potential in linear technology. And the FUTURE DRIVE, which leads to a new dimension in reliability and sustainability.

Each of the three benefits is underpinned by three proof points, which in turn result in nine individual product stories that can be published separately in an online marketing campaign, among other things. The entire campaign is based on intelligent and activating storytelling that inspires Bosch Rexroth customers, builds an emotional connection to the brand, and strengthens it. B2B storytelling at its best - in an impressive B2B product marketing campaign across all channels.

SPS MARKETING not only developed a linear technology product overview as a sales tool for digital and print, but also created the sales presentation for Bosch Rexroth.



The brilliant thing about this campaign is the modular and exciting way the three lanes were designed with a lot of power and used as a tool to explain complex B2B products and services. The modular story can easily be adapted to different media formats and for different purposes and used long term.
